Ladies and Gentlemen, fasten you seatbelts, please… Because Komikaze are landing into your backyard!

One of the coolest comix collective coming from Croatia and, what I call, Balcanica Vulgaris Region are absolutely without a proper competition = Komikaze. Dunno when it happened exactly that I got attached with their, as critics like to say, ‘brut’ art aesthetics… I think it’s connected with my passion for printed fanzines and magazines…

Komikaze aren’t for kiddies, you know! Coz they are busy/invisible street artists, real existentialists, heavy painters, non-pixelized VJ-s, story-tellers-on-short-race, cool anarchists, wannabe old punkers, passionate art cyclists, lo-fi cyber cruisers, performers ‘when you ask for it‘, activists from the bottom of their heels, a neon Fred Asters, mid 30’s Doc Martens post rockers, wiki generation surfers…

It’s a special international elite troupe of comix agents directly connected with the creator itself – The Liquid Drawing Essence …

They live in their own world… But, it’s a dangerous world where digital ink rulez…

A world where Mr. Absurd is the King of the ceremony, not some loser wanting to make order…

Order Out!, they shout, Coz Komikaze Are Here…

Despite this very terrifying and frightening intro… take a deep breath, my dear co-passenger, and relax your lungs and belly, slightly recline your head and neck… and JUMP NOW with me into this lo-fi of 0’s and 1’s created spaceship…

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS… and we are here…

See! Nothing happened… every bone seems to be in place…

Komikaze is an interactive lo-fi web oriented squad or, more precisely a platform… they work and act internationally… but, from time to time they visit our ‘just another day’ world, and for that occasion they usually print their comixz (cool t-shirtz and bags too!) so that we can understand them a little bit easier.

An urban legend says that Komikaze are led by special under-cover agents: editor in (mis)chief> ivana armanini and additors> goran cvek, eugen vukovic, sven cvek.

It’s a Wiki stuff thing, see… ‘an e-gallery of characters: a weird depot of absolute zer(0)es, grotesque +unusually stupid figures drawn on bills,little-pieces-of-cardboard-that-you-put-under-a-beer-glass-but-dont-know-the-english-word-for-them;unbelievably imbecile names & stories; a variety of products of very ill minds…/._ in short, these comicxs are provocative, sick, dark, dirty, or subversive, deformed, evil, confused, nightmarish, sexually frustrated, retarded, absurd, brutal, black- and otherways-humored, here are morbidities, cynicisms, madnessessss, unconscious/subconscious another traumas, flashbacks, traumatic visions, bad_trips, paranoias! and otherdeviations and zaums.’

… with Wiki Jamm too, simple software for comix waiting to induce your hidden desires and thoughts bringing it to the light by your very spezial 23Watt Spar Glühbirne…
